Who We Work With

Focus Clean Energy works with a diverse group of stakeholders to reach a common goal of maximizing community benefits and stakeholder returns. These stakeholders include landowners, federal, state, and local regulators, financial partners, construction and operation companies, environmental organizations, and tribal groups. By working with all concerned stakeholders throughout a project's lifecycle, Focus Clean Energy can anticipate and address potential challenges and chart the path for our projects’ success.

Landowners

Landowners are the most important stakeholders since they are the ones living with the projects. Focus Clean Energy’s projects bring decades of reliable investments to rural areas without changing the character of these communities. Clean energy projects provide construction and operations jobs, property tax and impact payments to local governments, and lease payments to local landowners with minimal demand on public services. Clean energy projects are commonly a key source of funding for local schools, emergency services,

and roads.

Regulators

Focus Clean Energy works proactively with regulators; they are brought into the process early to ensure their input guides a project. We have spent years working to understand the needs and requirements of agencies such as the US Fish & Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and the Wyoming Industrial Siting Division.
